1. Information We Collect
When you use Jobrix we collect:
- Account data — email address, name, Telegram handle (when linked).
- Resume data — the resume text you paste or upload, used solely for AI job matching.
- Preferences — skills, job roles, location, salary range, experience.
- Usage data — which jobs you saved, applied to, or ignored, and match scores.
- Payment data — processed by Razorpay. We do not store card or UPI details.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To match jobs to your resume and preferences using AI.
- To send Telegram notifications for matched jobs.
- To process subscription payments via Razorpay.
- To improve matching accuracy (aggregate, anonymised).
We never sell your personal data or resume to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in AWS ap-south-1 (Mumbai). We use row-level security and encrypted connections. Resume text is never shared outside our matching pipeline.
4. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Razorpay — payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant).
- Telegram — notification delivery.
- Anthropic / Google AI — AI models for job parsing and matching. Job descriptions (not personal data) are sent for analysis.
- Sentry — error monitoring (no PII logged).
5. Chrome Extension — Specific Disclosures
The Jobrix Chrome extension operates as follows:
- Job data capture — When you browse job sites (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), the extension reads job listing content (title, company, description, apply URL) from pages you visit and sends it to Jobrix servers for AI matching. No other page content is read.
- Auto-apply — When auto-apply is enabled, the extension opens job pages in background tabs and fills application forms on your behalf using your stored name, email, and phone number. Your passwords and login credentials for third-party sites are never accessed or stored.
- Local storage — The extension stores your Jobrix authentication token, extension mode preference, and daily application count in Chrome local storage. This data never leaves your device except as part of authenticated API calls to Jobrix servers.
- No remote code — All JavaScript is bundled in the extension package. No external scripts are fetched or evaluated.
- No general browsing history — The extension only activates on job listing pages matching its declared host permissions. It does not track your general web browsing.
6. Your Rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. Data is deleted within 7 days of request.
7. Cookies
We use only essential session cookies for authentication. No advertising or tracking cookies.
